Keller came to us with a 5-song EP and some loose concepts, and together we developed a bold visual for each. For 5×7 Rug, we leaned into the metaphor—literally. The video follows Keller as he shoves dishware, lamps, even full-sized furniture under a rug in an old barn, a surreal take on the emotional weight we bury. As the sun sets, the camera pans down to reveal he’s on the second floor—and everything he “swept under the rug” has been falling through the floor the entire time. We shot the entire video in just four hours using only natural light. Directed by Jake Ryan Hull and shot by Vinnie Fallico on location in East Tennessee, it’s a stripped-back production with a memorable payoff.
