Project TYPE: VISUALIZER
RIDE
ARTIST: ALEX LAMBERT
Director: Jake Ryan Hull
DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY: VINNIE FALLICO
Alex Lambert’s team brought us in to create visuals for all nine tracks on his debut album Lonely Avenue—shot over just four days, each with its own look and feel. For Ride, a breezy soul-pop standout, we leaned into the windows-down, summer-evening vibe with a simple narrative: Alex picks up a girl for a date and they cruise through town in a vintage Cadillac. Shot handheld from within the car on the streets of Nashville, the production used a follow car and wireless director’s monitor, allowing real-time tweaks via radio. A smooth, low-lift setup that captured exactly what the song feels like.
